Behind the Painting
Two Different Dances and Culture, One Soul was inspired by the first mural I created here in Tucson—the place where my life as a painter came alive. It represents the moment I moved from saying, “I wish I could,” to believing, “I could—and I will.”
I brought flamenco and charro traditions together with my love of Spanish guitar. The figures may carry different dances and cultural expressions, but they meet through movement, music, and one shared creative soul. This blend reflects my culture, my story, and the courage it took to begin painting.
